We solve the #1 problem in furniture fabrication: Cracking during Bending. By using high-elongation raw material strips and controlling the annealing process, our tubes can withstand tight-radius bending without splitting or “orange peeling.” Whether you are making sofa legs, chair frames, or table bases, our tubes arrive polished and ready to form.
Standard 201 tubes often crack when bent due to low copper content. We are different.
High Copper Material: For furniture applications, we recommend our High-Copper 201 (J1/J3) grades. They offer superior elongation compared to standard market goods.
Performance: Suitable for 90° bending, flaring, and tapering (conical legs). We guarantee the weld seam will not split under stress.
Furniture is a visual product. The surface must be flawless.
Defect Free: Our QC standard strictly rejects “White Spots”, “Pitting”, or “Sanding Marks” (referencing factory QC chart).
Deep Shine: Unlike the hazy finish of general industrial tubes, our furniture tubes undergo extra polishing passes to achieve a deep, reflective mirror finish (>520 Grit).

A: Cracking usually happens because the material has low copper content or high carbon (too hard). Vertex Tubes supplies High-Copper 201 specifically for bending applications, which is softer and has higher elongation.
A: 201 is the industry standard for indoor furniture due to its lower cost and sufficient corrosion resistance for dry environments. 304 is recommended for outdoor furniture or coastal areas to prevent rusting.
A: We supply tubes with a pre-polished Mirror or Satin finish. However, for high-end furniture, we recommend bending first and then doing a final touch-up polishing at the weld/bend points.
