Stainless Steel Tubing for Conveyor Rollers

Low TIR. Food Grade 304/316L. Built for Hygienic Automation.

Clean, Precise, and Rust-Proof.
In food processing, pharmaceuticals, and high-end logistics, standard carbon steel rollers are not an option due to rust and contamination risks.
Vertex Tubes manufactures high-precision Stainless Steel Roller Shell Tubing. We focus on Concentricity and Straightness to minimize vibration at high speeds, while using strictly certified 304/316L materials to meet hygiene standards in wash-down environments.

 Key Features

low-tir-total-indicator-runout

Low TIR (Total Indicator Runout)

High-speed rollers require perfect roundness to run quietly.

Ovality Control: We maintain strict circularity tolerances (<0.15mm).

Straightness: Our tubes are straightened to < 0.5mm/m. This minimizes “wobble” and vibration, extending the life of your bearings and reducing noise in the factory.

Hygienic & Corrosion Resistant

Designed for “Wash-Down” environments.

Material: We supply ASTM 304 for standard food conveyors and 316L for acidic/salty environments (e.g., pickle lines, seafood processing).

Purity: Our material is free from heavy metals and compliant with food safety standards. No rust flakes will ever contaminate your product.

uniform-wall-thickness-balance

Uniform Wall Thickness (Balance)

Uneven wall thickness causes centrifugal imbalance.

Process: We use high-precision cold-rolled stainless strips.

Benefit: Uniform mass distribution ensures the roller spins smoothly without needing excessive balancing weights.

A: Stainless steel (304/316L) is essential for food safety and longevity. Unlike carbon steel, it does not require plating (which can flake off) and will not rust in humid or wash-down environments.

A: Vibration comes from poor straightness or ovality. We straighten our stainless tubes to <0.5mm/m and strictly control the roundness. This minimizes the Total Indicator Runout (TIR), ensuring smooth operation at high RPM.

A: We offer both. 2B (Mill Finish) is standard for most industrial conveyors. For visible machinery or strict hygiene areas, we offer 320# Polished finish which is easier to clean.
