On October 26, 2020, Mr. Shan Guoxi, Chairman of VertexFlowtubes Stainless Steel, along with his colleagues from the customer service department, visited and extended their regards to Ms. Kang Huali, a patient whom VertexFlowtubes has been supporting.
Visiting Ms. Hua Li, chatting with her, and taking care of her daily life are things that the VertexFlowtubes Stainless Steel team in Zhoukou does every week.
In 2010, Kang Huali narrowly escaped death in a serious car accident. She survived but tragically lost both legs, rendering her unable to work. Her husband subsequently divorced her.
After that, Hua Li was cared for by her elderly parents. Since Mr. Shan, the chairman of VertexFlowtubes Stainless Steel, met Hua Li by chance and learned about her experience, Mr. Shan decided to provide unconditional financial assistance to Ms. Kang Hua Li.
In addition to allocating a portion of the funds from the VertexFlowtubes Charity Foundation each month to provide Ms. Huali with living expenses, Mr. Shan also arranged for staff from the Henan branch’s marketing department to visit Ms. Huali every week, rain or shine.
As Mr. Shan often says, “Giving roses leaves a lingering fragrance.” VertexFlowtubes Stainless Steel established a charitable foundation from its inception, and at the 2018 National Distributor Annual Meeting, it was unanimously approved that a fixed donation would be made to the VertexFlowtubes Charity Fund for every ton of pipe sold!
